The service
FlashCard AI is an Android application published by BytesFlux that generates flashcards from material you supply and schedules them for review. It is provided as a study aid.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put into the app and everything it generates for you. You are responsible for having the right to use the material you submit — do not import documents you are not permitted to copy, and do not submit other people's personal or confidential information.
AI output
Cards are produced by an AI model. They can be incomplete, oversimplified, or simply wrong. Verify anything that matters against your own source. BytesFlux makes no warranty about the accuracy of generated cards, and generated material is not professional, medical, legal or academic advice.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the app to generate illegal, hateful or harmful material.
- Don't try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the generation service.
- Don't use it to cheat where you've agreed not to — that's between you and your institution, but we'd rather say it than not.
Free tier and Premium
The free tier includes a daily allowance of AI generations and unlimited reviewing of decks you already have; the current terms are set out on the pricing page. Premium removes the daily generation limit and is sold through Google Play, which handles billing, renewals, refunds and cancellation under its own terms. We may change the allowance or pricing for future purchases; we won't retroactively take away decks you already built.
Availability
Generation depends on a third-party AI service and an internet connection, and may be unavailable at times. Reviewing decks stored on your device does not depend on our service being up.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, BytesFluxis not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including exam outcomes based on generated study material. Your decks are stored on your device and we cannot recover them if the device is lost — back up anything you can't afford to lose.
